We’re delighted to have the option for a school tour to Barcelona next April 2027.
The details of the tour are:
- 3 nights Bed, Breakfast and Evening meals at a hotel in Salou
- Flights from Cork to Barcelona
- Travel insurance
- Entrance to PortAventura
- Evening bowling
- Day trip to Barcelona
- Visit the Cosmosaixa museum
- Travel by cable-car up to MontJuic
- Trip to Tarragona with its Roman ruins
Use of our own bus during the tour.
The cost will be in the region of €730, and this will be payable in stages.
The tour company will look for a deposit of €300 in September. It’s a good idea to save now to have that money ready when it’s needed.
Once we have enough people signed up the tour will be able to go ahead.
We can agree a payment structure that best suits families. However, the tour company will look for all payments to be complete by January.

Once we go ahead I will hold two meetings with parents/guardians.
The first meeting will be to go over the details of the tour in greater detail, we will hold this meeting early in September
The second meeting will have greater detail and look at what to bring, etc. This meeting will be closer to our travel dates.
Students will need a valid passport in order to travel. Check now if your child has a passport. Also apply for an EHIC card. This ensures free medical care in Spain if needed.
